Reinforced coated graphite rotor

Graphite rotors are used in various applications due to their excellent properties. They have dimensional stability under wide temperature variations, are self-lapping and flexible enough to conform to the mating face, very hard, self-lubricating and resistant to wear. They are also lubricated by almost any fluid, so the media being sealed will add additional lubrication.
 

These rotors are often used in degassing processes, such as in vehicles or large furnaces. The reinforcement and coating on these rotors make them more resistant to high temperatures and wear, making them suitable for demanding applications.
