AAS graphite tube
Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS graphite tube) is a widely used analytical technique for determining the concentration of specific metal ions in samples. Graphite tube quality directly determined AAS testing efficiency and accuracy.
Product Info
In AAS, a sample is placed in a hollow graphite tube which is heated until the sample is completely vaporized. This type of electrothermal atomization is much more sensitive than flame AAS and can detect very low concentrations of metals (less than 1 ppb) in smaller samples. The higher atom density and longer residence time in the graphite tube improve furnace AAS detection limits by a factor of up to 1000 compared to flame AAS.
